After over 10 years in bottle (Magnums only remaining), we have decided to offer this limited release gem from the Cambridge Road Library. Packaged in a beautiful Cambridge Road embossed wooden box and packed with wood shavings.

Organically farmed, mature vine (20+ years) Martinborough terrace blend from 3 village sites. Wild fermented in small batches and conditioned over the winter in a blend of french oak vessels up to 860L volume.

This Animus is a reflection of martinborough in a cooler year, modest alcohol is backed by lovely acidity and with gentle extraction the wine is fine boned and refreshing. The Syrah component works to fill the palate and elevate the dark spices that have become synonymous with Animus.

Dark, spicy and brooding that is the intention and the personality of this wine. Pinot noir and Syrah have been fused in a way that delivers a freshness of fruit and lifted spice supoorted by echoes of the wild.
